Impactos Pós-pandemia da COVID-19 na Saúde Mental da Comunidade Universitária

O estudo analisou sintomas de saúde mental na comunidade universitária após a pandemia de COVID-19, com o objetivo de investigar a ocorrência de transtornos mentais e seu impacto na vida acadêmica. A pesquisa adotou abordagem transversal qualitativa-quantitativa por meio de levantamento (survey) com membros da comunidade universitária de Maringá e Paranavaí, Paraná, coletando dados em agosto e setembro via Google Forms® e analisando-os com software estatístico. Os resultados indicaram que 77,8% dos participantes relataram ansiedade, 22,2% transtorno de atenção e 15,6% depressão. Comorbidades pré-existentes (OR=4,48) e sintomas prolongados da COVID-19 (OR=5,13) aumentaram o risco de transtornos mentais. Pressão por desempenho acadêmico e incerteza quanto ao futuro acadêmico e profissional foram apontadas como principais fontes de estresse. Conclui-se que fatores socioeconômicos, demográficos e comorbidades desempenham papel significativo na saúde mental pós-pandemia, evidenciando a necessidade de estratégias de apoio psicossocial para a comunidade universitária.
